A Boutonniere-filled Weekend

After working on the peacock feather boutonnieres this weekend, I had a creative boost of energy to finish my sister’s wedding flowers.
To re-cap, she is the bride who is going for an authentic late 60’s look. Her flower choices are ranunculus, billy balls, hydrangeas, and feathers. This combination looks super funky and fun! Since the ranunculus are pretty bulky, I needed to figure out how I was going to create boutonnieres and corsages to match without having them result in a super heavy arrangement.
I found some gorgeous mustard yellow silk at the store the other day and quickly decided that the boutonnieres and corsages were going to involve singed flowers with berries, feathers, and mini billy balls.

I just finished the test runs of both items and couldn’t be more excited to show you the finished products!
