Exactly what Rick Astley said.
I may be terrible at keeping up with my blog posts, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I will never give you guys up. I’m sorry I’ve been out of the loop, my friends!
So, just what have I been up to? I will tell you!
I have two dear friends who are in the middle of planning weddings. One is coming up fast and furious, so all of the shower/ bachelorette party arrangements have been in full swing. In all honesty, I’m giddy with excitement about all the decorations and planning that we’ve been doing…. but on the other hand, I’m totally bummed because I can’t post pictures of all the creations because it would certainly be seen by the bride herself. So we’ll just have to keep that under wraps until late November. The best part is, her wedding is going to be on a beach in February….which just happens to be on my birthday….. so you can be sure that I’m going to be sunbathing with a margarita by day, and dancing ’til I drop by night! Can’t. Even. Wait!
Aside from bedazzling upcoming bridal parties, I have been helping another friend plan her big day for next Fall. We obviously have plenty of time but it’s awesome that she is so on top of things. We went dress shopping and she found a spectacular gown. She booked her wedding at the unbelievably stunning Helen Newberry Library. I’m so excited to help her plan everything. I’m even more excited and honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. So as you can see, I haven’t calmed down in the wedding scene….but I can’t really spread the news and photos of my upcoming projects, for fear that surprises would be ruined.
I suppose I can show you pictures of other projects that I’ve been working on.
As some of you might know, I purchased a home a few months back. It’s a three bedroom bungalow and it’s full of vintage charm. It’s also filled with some tragically awful interior design choices from it’s previous owners. Along with my wedding orders, I have been spending a great deal of time working on DIY home improvement projects. I’m loving it. Well… I normally go into every new project, super pumped and excited…and then around hour 3 of working on it….I start to lose steam. But things are coming along. This little 1920’s home is going to be looking very classy, very soon. Here are some pictures of my little money pit.
