The End

After about a year of consideration, I’ve decided to close up shop. I’ve been so honored and overjoyed to have been a part of so many special weddings over the past 8 years. I will never forget the excitement I had while creating those designs for each and every one of you. My sincere thanks to everyone who allowed me the chance to do the creative things that I’ve always loved doing! This may be the end of the silk floral design business, but I will never stop loving weddings and all they entail.

Thank you for the memories!

Mindy & Josh

In the summer of 2011, Mindy was working a temp job that placed her side by side with yours truly. We became fast friends. Mindy was a ray of sunshine in a pretty dreary work environment, but we got through it together! She and I shared our worries and woes of the Chicago dating scene. It was wonderful to have someone to  share depressing, hysterical, and love-smitten stories with on a daily basis.

When Mindy reconnected with her long-time friend, Josh…. sparks flew. It was all over from there! These two love birds tied the knot on beautiful day in February 2016, in Iowa.  They went with a plum purple and navy blue color combo, which turned out so pretty! I was so honored that my floral creations could be part of their special day.

Congratulations Mindy & Josh!

Kayla & Zack

These two love birds were so much fun to work with! They also kept it colorful and simple, with a dash of sparkle…. which is exactly my cup of tea. They flew to Vegas for a quick, romantic, wedding-filled, weekend. Their fabulous photos are enough to make you swoon!

Congrats Kayla & Zack!

Annie & Ryan

I met Annie while attending Columbia College in Chicago. We were both short, bubbly, feisty, Italian, balls of musical theater talent. The security guards would mistake us for one another and we could obviously never be cast in the same show, because we were ALWAYS going out for the same part! So it came as no surprise when Annie stated that she wanted a wedding full of glitter and bold colors. (Oh heart, be still…)

Annie & Ryan are so absolutely perfect for one another! Creating vibrant flowers to match their personalities was a challenge that I gladly accepted. I was so incredibly honored to be a part of their big day. Wishing them endless happiness for decades to come!
